THE NEW LABOR PARTY PLATFORM

The Founding Fathers

It was the intentions of the Founding Fathers to make the federal government an arbiter between the states, capitalist and labor. The federal government was established to protect the citizenry first and foremost, above all else. The citizens that are sent to serve in the United States Congress are elected by the people. These elected Members of Congress are sent to Washington, DC to protect and serve the interest of the people. 

We the People

We the people of the New Labor Party are the people who develop, work, build, teach, discover, protect (at home and abroad) and provide services for the United   States of America. We are also the ones, who labor for and pay more than our fare share of taxes that provide tax breaks to benefit the rich upper class and corporations. The Labor Party believes that as long as all individuals and corporations pay their fair share of taxes, we as a nation can reduce the tax burden that plagues all of us! 

The Labor Party

The Labor Party is not anti-business, but wants to work with business, so as labor is not exploited, but justly compensated for an honest day’s work. The Labor Party believes that business can make a profit, but it should not deny its labor force adequate compensation in the form of salary or hourly wages, health and retirement benefits. If business fails to provide labor with the ability to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, the Labor Party will support and elect candidates, who will enact and enforce laws to protect the workforce. 

A Political Platform

The Labor Party’s plan is to develop a political platform that will benefit all Americans, as well as corporate America. It will not be an easy task, but if all of us are going to survive we need to work together. The importance of another party is to develop a system of government that not only consists of Democrats and Republicans, but to develop a Labor Party to strengthen the democratic principles, whereas our choices are not limited within a two party system. 

The American People

Every two years, as Members of Congress are elected and with the possibility of Congress changes hands, progress and programs are stifled, as the two parties are polarized for the next two years, until the upcoming Presidential Elections. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party have failed to keep what is in the best interests of all the American People. 

The American Labor Force

The Labor Party will work with the Democratic Party or the Republican Party and/or both parties within the Halls of Congress to push through legislation that supports the American labor force. The Labor Party wants the United States to remain competitive in a world economy. The Labor Party will ensure the American citizenry is justly compensated and protected under the laws put forth by their elected Members of Congress. The Labor Party recognizes and supports the principles of the Constitution of the United States.

    Why the Beaver?

     The beaver works as a keystone species in an ecosystem by creating wetlands that are used by many other species. The people need businesses to create jobs and the people need to provide labor to support these businesses.

    The beaver works as a keystone species in an ecosystem by creating wetlands that are used by many other species. The people need businesses to create jobs and the people need to provide labor to support the businesses. 

    The Beaver’s Co-existence:

    The beaver works as a keystone species in an ecosystem by creating wetlands that are used by many other species. The people need business to create jobs and the people need to provide labor to support the business.

    The Beaver’s Labor:

    Next to humans, no other extant animal appears to do more to shape its landscape. The beaver creates to benefit others. Business needs to create to benefit society.

    The Beaver’s Environment:

    Beaver ponds, and the wetlands that succeed them, remove sediments and pollutants from waterways, including total suspended solids, total nitrogen, phosphates, carbon and silicates. Regulation guarantees that business and labor disposes waste in a safe manner.

    The Beaver’s Creations:

    Beavers are known for their natural trait of building dams on rivers and streams, and building their homes (known as "lodges") in the resulting pond. Beavers also build canals to float build materials that are difficult to haul over land. Their colonies create one or more dams to provide still, deep water to protect against predators, and to float food and building material. Business needs to create jobs and protect its workforce.

    The Beaver’s Habitat:

    The habitat of the beaver is the riparian zone, inclusive of stream bed. The actions of beavers for hundreds of thousands of years in the Northern Hemisphere have kept these watery systems healthy and in good repair, although a human observing all the downed trees might think that the beavers were doing just the opposite. It is up to the people of the nation to maintain a safe environment for future generation.

    The Beaver’s Family Values:

    Beaver pairs mate for life; however, if a  beaver's mate dieBeaver pairs mate for life; however, if a beaver's mate  ds, it will partner with another one. Extra-pair copulations also  occur. In addition to being monogamous, both the male and female take  part in raising their offspring.  We will focus on making sure future  generations are raised by a two parent traditional family or with a  non-traditional family willing to raise the next generation.


    When  young are born, they spend their first month in the lodge and their  mother is the primary caretaker while their father maintains the  territory. In the time after they leave the lodge for the first time,  yearlings will help their parents build food caches in the fall and  repair dams and lodges. If you teach a child how to fish that child will  eat for a lifetime.


    Still,  adults do the majority of the work and young beavers help their parents  for reasons based on natural selection rather than kin selection. They  are dependent on them for food and for learning life skills. Young  beavers spend most of their time playing but also copy their parents' behavior. 


    However,  while copying behavior helps imprint life skills in young beavers it is  not necessarily immediately beneficial for parents as the young beaver  do not perform the tasks as well as the parents. If you teach children  good morals and certain life skills, children will learn good morals and  certain life skills.

    The Beaver’s Defense:

    Beavers maintain and defend territories, which are areas for feeding, nesting  and mating. They invest much energy in their territories, building their  dams and becoming familiar with the area. If we learn to respect our  neighbors, our neighbors will learn to respect us.

    The Beaver’s Respect for Others:

    Beavers also exhibit a behavior known as the "Dear Enemy Phenomenon".  A territory holding beaver will investigate and become familiar with the  scents of its neighbors.  As such they respond less aggressively to  intrusions by their territorial neighbors than those made by  non-territorial floaters or "strangers.” If we learn how to defend  ourselves, our neighbors will think twice about attacking us.
